Wendy - He's a dog. He has no sense of time. Dogs only know "now" and "forever". Tomorrow has no meaning to them, let alone two days ahead.
Betty - Blazer will get what he gets every year: wrapping paper to rip apart and the chance to trip us as we're running down the stairs on Christmas morning. He's thrilled to do that!
